Opticos Design

Opticos Design, Inc. is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm founded in Berkeley, California that specializes in creating great places by revitalizing old and creating new pedestrian-oriented neighborhoods and cities and designing well-crafted traditional and classical architecture.

We help support Opticos’ Mac based network of designers, architects and staff. They have skilled employees on staff who manage day to day IT support but bring us in for some of the larger projects, like new installs and software upgrades, to make sure things go as smoothly as possible

DC Risk Solutions

DC Risk Solutions is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm. McQuillen tech now provides ongoing IT support on a retainer basis for all of DC Risk’s technical support needs.

ARISE High School

ARISE High School, a new Oakland charter school, opened its doors in August, 2007 and now has 220 students in grades 9 through 12. The result of a unique partnership with the Mills College School of Education, the Mills College TRIO Programs, Oakland Community Organizations and the Coalition of Essential Schools, ARISE’s focus is on preparing students from low income families to be the first in their families to attend college.

McQuillen Tech installed and configured ARISE’s very first servers, networking equipment and computers.  We continue to manage their network, staff computers, and student Chromebook carts as they expand.

Located in Downtown Oakland, Haley Law Offices have been fighting hard for clients’ rights for over 40 years. McQuillen Tech provides IT support for their entirely Mac based network setup as well as for the Law Offices of Catherine Haley, located at the same historic building.

Maddie’s Fund

Maddie was a beloved Miniature Schnauzer whose unconditional love, devotion, loyalty and spirit inspired her guardians to start a charitable foundation, Maddie’s Fund, in her name. Today Maddie’s Fund is at the forefront of giving and advocating for a no-kill nation!

Communication Works

Communication Works (CW) is a private practice that provides the highest level of speech, language, social and occupational therapy services to its clients in Oakland and surrounding Bay Area. Owned and operated since 2001 by two licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologists, CW offers advanced therapy techniques in a fun and safe environment where its clients learn to communicate and connect.
